Femi Adebayo Opens Free Film Training to 30 Lucky Applicants at New Lagos Hub

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has announced a free three-day filmmaking masterclass for aspiring creatives, with participation limited to the first 30 successful applicants.

The programme, organised through his Euphoria 360 Academy, is scheduled to hold from October 29 to 31, 2026, at the newly commissioned Euphoria 360 Hub in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.

Adebayo announced the opportunity in a video shared on X on October 8, encouraging aspiring filmmakers to take advantage of the training and register early because of the limited spaces.

He said the initiative was part of his commitment to creating opportunities for emerging talents and helping the next generation develop their skills in the film industry.

“I believe strongly that we have a responsibility to create opportunities for the people coming after us,” the actor said.

The masterclass will cover several aspects of filmmaking, including acting, directing, editing, sound design and film scoring. According to the announcement, participants will receive training from professionals working in the industry.

Although registration is free, applicants are expected to provide information about their preferred areas of interest, previous experience and availability to attend the programme physically.

Adebayo stressed that only 30 successful registrations would be accepted, urging interested individuals to apply promptly.

The training will take place at Euphoria 360 Hub, the headquarters of Euphoria360 Media Limited, which was commissioned on October 6 by Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat.

The facility houses production studios, post-production suites, a Dolby Atmos sound facility, a Foley studio, event spaces and the film academy. Afrobeats star Davido had also filmed his “B4 B4” music video at the hub before its formal opening.

The commissioning attracted several entertainment industry figures, including Adebayo’s father, veteran actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello.

Adebayo hints at new film project

During the same video announcement, the filmmaker also offered a glimpse of a new movie project he is developing.

He explained that the repeated use of the word “WOW” in reviews of his previous film, Jagun Jagun, inspired the idea for a new production that could be titled War of Warriors.

Adebayo appeared enthusiastic about the proposed project but did not provide further details about its production schedule or release date.

The masterclass announcement has attracted encouraging reactions from fans and aspiring actors, several of whom expressed hope of securing one of the available places.

The initiative comes as Adebayo expands activities at his new creative hub, with the free training programme offering a limited number of participants an opportunity to learn different filmmaking skills directly from industry professionals.
