Rwanda CMA Moves to Facilitate Investor Participation in Dangote Refinery IPO

The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) of Rwanda has begun engaging relevant stakeholders to enable Rwandan investors to participate in the proposed initial public offering (IPO) of Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the regulator said it had recorded significant interest among investors in opportunities available through the capital market.

The CMA added that it was working with stakeholders to facilitate access for Rwandan investors interested in participating in the Dangote Refinery share offering.

The development highlights growing cross-border interest in investment opportunities associated with the Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

  And efforts by Rwanda’s capital market regulator to expand investment access for local investors.
